Rebid Alert

Terms of service

Effective date: 2026-10-16
Rebid Alert is a service of Internet Physics, Inc.

Who we are

Rebid Alert is a service of Internet Physics, Inc., a Delaware corporation (Delaware file number 10348328). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Internet Physics, Inc. acting under the name Rebid Alert, and "you" means the business that receives our free rebid finding or places an order with us.

Our services are for businesses only. By placing an order, you confirm that you act for a business and may bind it.

How Rebid Alert works

We work by email. When you ask for something that these terms and your order confirmation do not answer, we refer it to the officers of Internet Physics, Inc., and the answer reaches you by email from john@rebidalert.com.

The free rebid finding

The free rebid finding costs nothing and commits you to nothing. It is not a trial: it never turns into a paid order, and we never ask for payment details to send it. We prepare at most one free rebid finding for each company, identified by its website domain. We build it only from public sources, as described below, and you may use it as you wish.

The rebid finding lists the five public janitorial or custodial contracts in your metro (city, county, school district, housing authority, state or federal) whose terms end soonest within the next 3 to 12 months. For each contract it gives the agency, the end date and the renewal options left where the record shows them, the incumbent, the last award price, and the bidder count and each bidder's price where a public tabulation lists them. Every row links to its public record. End dates are forecasts, not certainties, and rows whose award price we cannot match to a source document are left out, so a finding may list fewer than five contracts.

We build it from your public website or the bid tabulation that named your company (to know your city or service area), from public agency procurement pages, bid tabulations, award notices, solicitations and board minutes, and from federal award data published through the USAspending public API. It needs nothing from you.

What we do for paying customers

Rebid Alert monthly plan

Each month, for each metro territory in your order, we email you a spreadsheet of every public janitorial or custodial contract (city, county, school district, housing authority, state and federal) whose term ends in the next 18 months. For each contract it gives, where the public records show them: the agency, the buildings, the end date, the renewal options left, the incumbent, the last award price (contract value), the bidder count and each bidder's price where a public tabulation gives them, prices per visit and per square foot where the solicitation states frequency and area, the agency's procurement contact as shown on the public record, notes from public board minutes on extensions or renewals, a fit score against your stated facility types, size range and counties, and a link to each record.

Each month you also receive a short brief on the three best-fit rebids ending in 3 to 12 months, with a checklist of their deadlines and pre-bid requirements as stated in prior solicitations. When the solicitation for a contract on your calendar posts, we email you an alert with its due date within a week. Each month you may reply with questions on the brief, and we answer by email.

When you order, you confirm your metro territory once, in the order confirmation you accept by reply. You may also tell us, once, your facility types, your minimum and maximum contract size and the counties you serve, in reply to a short set of questions we email you after you order; without them, rows are sorted by end date and no fit score is given. We send your first calendar within 5 business days of the start of your plan. Each additional metro territory is a further metro territory in your order, at the same rate.

End dates are forecasts taken from the public records, not certainties: an agency may extend a contract, end it early or not rebid it.

What's not included

  • No open-bid alerts for contracts not on the calendar (agency portals and alert services do that)
  • No writing or submitting bids, and no outreach copy (proposal drafting is a separate offer)
  • No registering the contractor on portals and no contacting agencies on its behalf
  • No public records requests
  • No access to the contractor's systems, accounts or records
  • No promise that a contract will be rebid or won
  • No contracts outside the metro territories in your order

Prices and billing

All prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax that applies by law. We bill only the events this section names; our own errors, retries and failed checks are never billed. We do not ask for payment details before you accept an order, and we start paid work only after you accept it as described in "How orders are made".

Rebid Alert monthly plan: USD 400 per month per metro territory, invoiced by email on the day the order is accepted and then monthly on that day, paid by bank transfer (ACH or wire) to the account named on the invoice; cancel any time by email, which stops the next month's invoice while the paid month runs to its end. Each additional metro territory is billed at the same rate.

A month of the plan becomes billable when it starts, for each metro territory in your order: the first month on the day you accept the order, and each later month on the same day of the following month. We never bill the rebid finding, a month that starts after you cancel, a month while the plan is paused, or a metro territory that is not in your order.

Each monthly charge is invoiced by email from hello@rebidalert.com when its month starts. Payment is by bank transfer (ACH or wire) to the account named on the invoice; payment instructions come with the invoice. If an invoice is unpaid, we email you a reminder; if it is still unpaid when the next month of the plan would start, the plan ends at the end of the month invoiced, nothing further is invoiced, and that invoice remains owed for the month delivered.

Automatic renewal

Rebid Alert monthly plan renews automatically. Rebid Alert monthly plan is billed at USD 400 per month per metro territory every month and renews automatically until you cancel. Your first charge for it is on the day you accept the order. We start it only after you have replied to its order confirmation with the words "I agree to automatic renewal", separately from accepting the rest of the order, and we keep that reply for at least 3 years, or for 1 year after the plan ends if that is later. When it starts, we email you these terms and how to cancel. We email you at least 30 days before any change to its price, and at least once a year we email you its price, how often you are charged and how to cancel.

To cancel, reply CANCEL to any email from us, or email hello@rebidalert.com with the word CANCEL. No call, form or reason is needed, and we confirm the cancellation by email within one business day. Cancellation takes effect when we receive it: no later monthly charge is made, and the month already paid runs to its end.

To pause instead, reply PAUSE. While Rebid Alert monthly plan is paused we do no work on it and charge nothing for it. It restarts only when you reply RESUME; if you have not replied RESUME within 3 months, it ends without any further charge.

Guarantees and refunds

Every guarantee we offer, with its conditions, and our refund rule are on our guarantee page at https://rebidalert.com/guarantee. A promise that is not on that page or in your order confirmation is not a guarantee we make.

How orders are made

We send you an order confirmation by email from john@rebidalert.com. It states what we will do, the price and the guarantee that apply. An order is made when you reply to it with "Yes, I accept". The order confirmation and these terms are our whole agreement for that order; if they differ, the order confirmation applies.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that the information and files you send us are accurate and that you have the right to give them to us for the work you order. You use what we deliver in compliance with the laws that apply to you.

You confirm your metro territory when you order. Before you bid, check each contract's details on the issuing agency's own record, which every row links to: we copy what the public records say, and agencies may change dates, scope or requirements.

Your material and our work

You keep all rights in the material you send us. Once you have paid for an order, what we deliver under it is yours to use and change. We keep the right to reuse our general methods and know-how, but not your material or your deliverables. How we handle personal information is described in our privacy policy at https://rebidalert.com/privacy.

Confidentiality

We keep the non-public information you send us confidential, use it only to do your work, and share it only with the kinds of service providers our privacy policy names. This does not cover information that is public or that you have told us we may share.

No promise of results

We promise the work described in your order, not a business result such as replies, meetings, sales or revenue, unless a guarantee on our guarantee page says otherwise. Estimates, examples and benchmarks we share are not promises.

A contract on your calendar is a forecast from public records: we do not promise that it will be rebid when the record says it ends, that its solicitation will post, or that you will win it. Past award and bidder prices show what agencies paid before, not what they will accept next time.

Limitation of liability

Apart from the work described in your order and the guarantees on our guarantee page, we make no other warranties, express or implied. The free rebid finding is provided as is.

Except for amounts you owe for work delivered, each party's total liability arising out of or relating to these terms or any order is limited to the amount you paid us under the order concerned in the 12 months before the claim arose. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data, even if told they were possible. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending an order

Either of us may end an order that is not yet finished, by email, if the other seriously breaks these terms and does not fix it within 15 days of being told. You then pay for the work delivered up to that point, and we refund what you paid for work not delivered.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms by publishing a new version on this page with a new effective date. An order keeps the terms in force when it was made. For a plan that renews automatically, we email you any change at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you may cancel before then.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and every order are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before either of us starts a legal claim, we try for 30 days to settle the matter by email. A claim that is not settled is brought only in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both of us accept their jurisdiction.

General

You may not transfer an order to someone else without our agreement by email. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. Notices under these terms are given by email: ours come from john@rebidalert.com, and yours go to hello@rebidalert.com.
