By the time a rebid posts, the clock is short

Public janitorial contracts are rebid on a schedule set when they were awarded. If you first hear of one when the solicitation posts, little time is left. You still have to visit the site, talk to the buyer, line up crews and set your price.

Your monthly rebid calendar

Each month, for one metro territory, we email you a spreadsheet. It lists every public janitorial or custodial contract whose term ends in the next 18 months: city, county, school district, housing authority, state and federal. You see who holds each one, what it last sold for and when the record says it ends. That end date is a forecast, not a certainty, and you see it months before the bid posts. We copy what the public records say; each row links to its record.

  • Every public janitorial or custodial contract in your metro ending in the next 18 months: agency, buildings, end date, renewal options left, incumbent and last award price
  • The bidder count and each bidder's price where a public tabulation gives them, and prices per visit and per square foot where the solicitation states frequency and area
  • The agency's procurement contact as shown on the public record, and notes from public board minutes on extensions or renewals
  • A fit score against your stated facility types, size range and counties, and a link to each record
  • A short brief on the 3 best-fit rebids ending in 3 to 12 months, with a checklist of their deadlines and pre-bid requirements as stated in prior solicitations
  • An email alert within a week when a tracked contract's solicitation posts, with its due date
  • Answers by email to your questions on the brief, each month

Start with a free rebid finding for your metro

Our free rebid finding covers your metro. It lists up to 5 public janitorial contracts ending soonest within the next 3 to 12 months. Each row gives the agency, end date, renewal options left where shown, incumbent and last award price. It adds the bidder count and prices where a tabulation lists them. Every row links to the agency's record.

Email hello@rebidalert.com with your company website. We read your city or service area from it and build the finding from public records within about 2 business days.

  • The agency (city, county, school district, housing authority, state or federal)
  • The end date, and the renewal options left where the record shows them
  • The incumbent: the company that holds the contract now
  • The last award price
  • The bidder count and each bidder's price, where a public tabulation lists them
  • A link from every row to the agency's own public record
  • End dates are forecasts, not certainties: an agency may extend a contract, end it early or not rebid it.
  • Rows whose award price we cannot match to a source document are left out, so a finding may list fewer than 5 contracts.
  • Past award and bidder prices show what agencies paid before, not what they will accept next time.
  • It does not promise that a contract will be rebid or won.
  • One per company, identified by its website domain.

How it works

  1. We build your rebid finding

From public agency records and federal award data, for your metro. It needs nothing from you and gives us no access to anything of yours.

  2. You check it

Open each row on the agency's own record and decide whether a contract is worth pursuing.

  3. You reply

Reply "send the order". We answer your questions by email and send the one-page order. The plan starts only when you accept it by reply.

  4. You confirm your territory

Once, in the order you accept. We then ask by email for your facility types, contract size range and counties. Without them, rows are sorted by end date with no fit score.

  5. Your calendar arrives each month

The first within a week of the start of your plan, then every month, with an alert when a tracked contract's solicitation posts.

FAQ

You are new. Why should I trust your list?

You do not have to take our word for it. We have no past customers to point to. So every row links to the agency's own record, and you can check each contract yourself before you rely on it.

Will these contracts really come out for rebid?

Not always. End dates are forecasts from the public records: an agency may extend a contract, end it early or not rebid it. Where the records have them, we show the renewal options left and notes from board minutes on extension votes. We make no promise that a contract will be rebid or won.

Federal award data is public. What does the calendar add?

It adds city, county, school-district, housing-authority and state contracts to the federal ones. It gives each bidder's price where a tabulation lists it, and prices per visit and per square foot where the solicitation allows. Each month it brings a brief on your 3 best fits, and we do all of it for you.

Do you need access to my systems?

No. The rebid finding is built only from public records and needs nothing from you. For the plan, you confirm your metro territory once, in the order. You may tell us by email your facility types, size range and counties for the fit score.

How do billing and cancelling work?

USD 400 per month per metro territory, invoiced monthly by email and paid by bank transfer. The plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time by replying CANCEL to any email from us; no call, form or reason is needed. Cancelling stops every later charge, and the month already paid runs to its end. Refund rules: https://rebidalert.com/guarantee

What is not included?

We do not write or submit bids, register you on portals, contact agencies for you, make public records requests or need access to your systems. We do not send alerts for open bids that are not on your calendar.
